To the response that was left, Chase Bank just started trading Iraq Dinars IQD in the later part of 2006? I know alot of people that purchased at over-inflated cost because at the time of 2004-2005 when it was "now is the time, this is going to peg in JAN 06" there was no banks selling or purchasing Iraq Dinar. I know dealers who were charging almost 1k for 1milDinar. Now since Chase sells it at a acceptable exchange cost, these dealers have closed there doors and left.

To the writer of the article, not bad, I share alot of the same thoughts and beliefs you have. I do hold some Iraq Dinars that I did purchase at Chase. It was money I could afford to invest and if it happens GREAT if not in my lifetime maybe my kids, or as one guy said "The government can claim all money inside iraq is legitimate and all money outside is iraq is not. Then, they will exchange the money inside iraq for new currency and the old one you can use for funny money in Texas holdem with friends."

Interesting,

A very skewed overview at best, at worst, not even close to being factual. First, you compare current dealers prices as if everyone purchased at that rate which is so far from the truth it is not even worth reading your overview.

Simply put, many have purchased at actual rate of exchange, and in some cases, less depending on where and how much you purchased. Sure, some dealers may be charging premium prices at this point, but only fools would pay over a thousand U.S. for a 1,000,000 dinar, so you are providing a totally incorrect picture given you can walk into Chase bank and pick up a million dinar for a small percentage over current exchange rate.

Anyone fool enough to pay over a thousand dollars should be the point of your overview, not as if everyone has purchased at that rate, or even close to it. As to liquid, I have sold dinar on open market through eBay as thousands of others have done, and you can even exchange at Chase, so get your facts straight as you are not correct on many points.
