Excel Prestige International

Excel Prestige International - The latest in a string of “Reverse Pension” programs popping up all over the place.  This program was launched in April of 2007 and so far claims a membership of 224 of the needed 100,000 members to close.  Maybe people are starting to catch on to all the ‘copy cat’ RPP programs.  It doesn’t help that their site almost duplicate the text verbatim of other so called reverse pensions.  If you are thinking of signing up, we think there will be plenty of time before they will reach 100k members.  People are wising up and are waiting to see if the other programs that started before Excel pays out, then join.  Maybe a bit late on Excel’s part for joining the reverse pension “hyip” train.  In either case, participants in any of these programs are in for a long wait to see if they receive any returns if any. Believe what you will, they admit on their site that they could not play with the so called “big boys”, so now they have struck out on their own.  They have also added a little twist to the referral program to entice membership - a forced matrix.

Below are excerpts from their site:

Human Capital Insurance 25

Human Capital Insurance 25 - Another “Reverse Pension” program. Of all the RPP programs, this one happens to show many red flags. Maybe our assumptions are wrong, but then again take a visit to their website and make up your own mind. The lack of command of the English grammar set aside, it takes balls for them to mention “We are one of the few distributors of bank debenture trading programs.” Experts in the headline scam medium of the ’90s, “bank debentures”, “prime banking” etc. Do a search on the SEC website for “Prime Banking” and you will see a list of red flags. Here’s one right from HCI’s faq section concerning SECRETCY which is a crock of bull. It is also disconcerting to hear from those who have joined that they do not even confirm receipt of funds sent or answer support emails.

“There’s no publicly available instrument even remotely comparable; why aren’t some of the largest institutions (pension funds and insurance companies) major investors? In addition, why have these instruments and programs never been the subject of articles in investment publications?

Most money managers, oriented only toward commonly-known investment are unaware and have not been exposed. Further, they do not realize the differences in (1) The type of investment vehicle. (2) How it is issued, (3) The frequency of the transactions. (4) The requirements for investing, (5) How to perform due diligence, and (6) The lack of knowledge by the general public. Because of this lack of knowledge, the returns sound “too good to be true” when compared to public-type investments. In addition, reported sources of these types of instruments deny their existence; however, some of these institutions are investors, according to managers contracted personally.

The main reason for this lack of knowledge is that all United States banks deny the existence of these programs or dismiss them as scams. There are only six domestic issuers; all are large money-center banks and their abilities are known only at the highest level within the banking community (meaning that most banks are completely unaware). These issuers cannot acknowledge the existence of such programs because (A) They are concerned that Publicity about raising capital might be deemed a public offering and the subject to regulation by the SEC and (B) Disintermediation (the switching by large depositors) from low-paying deposits to those with much larger profits.”

If this doesn’t bother you, then by all mean… continue on.

Pension World Wide

Pension World Wide - As of June 2007, this program has stalled in it’s tracks. Members are told that the “insurance control rejected all applications and sconces our partners”. We are not sure what the word “sconces” means, but these are supposedly highly experienced companies that deals in money making negotiations. We can only assume it is a legalese term that is above our understanding. Maybe it is just the beginning of the delays and stalling tactic of a scam. You be the judge. Reverse Pension Plans - Myth or Reality?

In the last several years, there have been a rash of “Reverse Pension” plan programs surfacing all over the place online. Are they real or just another scam? Are RPPs the “prime bank” scams of the 21st century that plagued us during the 90s? First we will define the familiar spiel in what these programs state they are and what the current facts are. You will have to decide if the risk and reward are worth taking. This is how the majority of the programs say how it works.

For a small membership fee, usually between $35 - $50, you have the opportunity to receive between $55,000 to $100K+ dollars in return. How you ask? It is through some private investor, venture capitalist or Trust partner that works with an insurance company. Your small fee is just a membership fee for the administrator (website) that brings this program forward. At the completion of the sign up process, anywhere between 10,000 members to over 100,000 members depending on the program; the third party purchases an insurance policy (pension policy) on your behalf and pays for it. You in return, sign over this policy to the “investor” to collect when you retire. They pay you upfront a lump sum or percentage of the total payout that you would have received when you do retire.

Prime Bank Fraud

The birth of the HYIP scams seem to have started during the late 90s with programs such as “Omega” and “Destiny”. Many promises of high payouts in secretive bank debentures and “prime” bank investments. Most of these scam artists were eventually indicted and convicted for numerous charges, but came a little too late for the investors that were taken. Oddly enough, the threat of prison and hefty fines has not deterred these unscrupulous criminals from starting a new wave of online banking scams. Below is an excerpt from the SEC’s website about the “Prime” bank scams to keep you one step ahead of these scam artists. Please visit www.sec.gov for more information.
