Their forum is publicly accessible for those that want to do some extra due diligence. A small number of members who have been paid from this investment have posted in the forum.

The properties that they invest in will need time for development and construction.

A couple of negatives that we see are no transparency with contact information, addresses or locations and what appears to be limited communications from the admin in the forum. If you had the foresight and invested in 1000 shares of eBay back in 1999, today you would be sitting on a cool million. They say hindsight is 20/20, but opportunities do come around and you have to trust your intuition. Ebay has become the defacto online auction site; the thousand pound gorilla that crushes any other competition. If you read between the lines, this 53 Billion dollar company does have its weaknesses and a large base of unsatisfied customers. The number one complaint are the fees – too many and ever increasing fees.

This is where new comer Dubli.com has a shot at taking a market share. They have the technology and strong financial backing. If Dubai in Dub-li doesn’t make you wonder who may be involved, then you will have to take a closer look. The first thing you should do is visit their trade portal and see what they have to offer and how they may be better than eBay.

The portal has launched a little more than a year ago and has been gathering steam. The MLM model that they chose allows associates to earn recurring commissions on referrals, something that users of eBay do not have. While we do not like MLM or network marketing when it comes to investments, this is one of those rare exceptions. In the world of financial markets, arbitrage trading is a technique where the trader buys a security at a low price and sells it in another market at a higher price. The trades usually occur at the same time so the trader makes a profit from the discrepancy in pricing on two separate markets. Arbitrage situations are not restricted just to the financial markets. It can happen with the buying/selling of physical goods and with sports wagering.

Arbitrage situations in sports betting occur frequently because different bookkeepers post different odds on the outcome of the same game. If an arbitrage is identified, it is usually a “risk free” or a “can’t lose” situation.

Let’s imagine a football game between Team A and Team B. Bookmaker #1 is giving even odds, so a $100 dollar bet wins $100 if you pick the winning team. Bookmaker #2 has Team A at +200. If you bet $100 on Team A with bookmaker #2, you collect $200 if they win and lose $100 if Team A loses. This is an arbitrage situation where you can make a profit and not lose any money no matter the outcome if you place the following bets.

1. Place a $300 wager on Team B at even odds with Bookmaker #1.
2. Place a $200 bet on Team A with Bookmaker #2 a +200.

If Team B wins, Bookmaker #1 pays you $300, but you lose $200 with Bookmaker #2. This leaves you with a $100 profit. If Team A wins, Bookmaker #2 pays you $400 and you lose $300 to Bookmaker #1. This also leaves you with a $100 profit, so no matter who wins, you are in profit.

Anyway you look at it; it is an impressive performance as compared to other forms of investing like the stock indexes. 2007 is also turning out to be another profitable year for its investors as well.

It is looking like Scandinavian Networking Group (SNG) is about to repeat the histories of a couple of so called trading programs that have failed to deliver. If you have been hiding under a rock for the past several years, you may have missed GINSystem and PIPS (aka PureInvestor) scams. If you are not familiar with these two, just do a search on the names + “scam” and you will find all the information you need.

Between GINS and PIPS, thousands of investors lost millions of dollars and may never recover a single penny. The mastermind behind GINS was tried and convicted in Singapore for illegally running a business without the proper licenses. He also had over 60 charges of fraud against him.

PIPS followed the same paths to failure. Brian Mardsen and his wife are both currently in a Malaysian jail awaiting trial for exactly the same type of charges as GINS. It does not look very promising for those that “invested” in this program as well.

We now come to SNG, in which the similarities to the two previous scams are striking. According to their website, they are currently not accepting any new members until further notice. (There are some disconcerting reasons why they are not accepting new members at the moment.)
